One U.S. airline makes the least from luggage fees and also carries the most passengers. Probably not a coincidence that they are also the one airline that manages to make a profit.

After a four-year lull, another attack by mass murderers in Jakarta, Indonesia. If traveling to a Muslim country (or a city in India), staying at a small locally owned hotel rather than an international chain will lessen your odds of getting blown to bits. Unfortunately, the bombs were carried in as luggage, so get ready for sniffing dogs and metal detectors at check-in. Once again, the terrorists have mostly succeeded in making us think negatively of their religion every day we travel. Thanks a lot.

On a better note, the Argentine peso just hit 3.8 to the dollar, which is a historic low.
