Enter the Remarkable Photo Contest

Over at Perceptive Travel, we’re running our second annual photo contest and this one is not just focused on one region. (See last year’s winners of the Citiescape Asia contest here.)
This year it’s the Remarkable Photo Contest, where we want to see something that does not look like it belongs in your local AAA magazine or tourism brochure. In other words, something “unique, mesmerizing, striking, or unusual.” Here’s what else makes this contest different than the ones you see advertised in a magazine: you actually have a pretty good chance of winning. We don’t have millions of subscribers and a big promotion budget, so you’re more likely to be competing with 80 other people than 80,000.
You can win some cool stuff though. First prize is a LowePro daypack that holds an SLR camera, extra lenses, and a laptop. Second is an online gift certificate to do what you want with and third is your choice of Perceptive Travel t-shirt or sweatshirt. Honorable mentions get a copy of Traveler’s Tool Kit: Mexico and Central America.
