This is not a guidebook you would carry along with you (unless your toddler needs a booster seat), rather it’s a book with pretty much everything you need to know to plan a successful trip to Mexico, Costa Rica, Belize, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, or Panama.

Or just to figure out which of those places you want to go and what to do when you’re there. You may not need it yourself if you’re an experienced traveler who has been to that region, but buy it as a gift for someone else who’s not so worldly wise.
