Polite Vikings, Juggling Backpackers, and Grilled Lamb’s Face

A headline like that can only mean one thing - the new issue of Perceptive Travel is out.
We’ve got Notes Towards a True Historie of the Vikings, Backpacker Cabaret at the Jugglers Rest Youth Hostel, and Extreme Eating in Morocco for those first three, all from returning PT writers. Then Michael Buckley returns with Lands of Lost Liberties and we welcome my fellow Travelers’ Tales author Michael Shapiro with Guatemala’s Running of the Horses. (The photo here is from his story.)
Every issue I’m grateful and a bit surprised by how good this stuff is that our obscure little publication is managing to bring to light, so check it out and hopefully you will agree. We’re getting some nice recognition from the powers that be (see the home page for details). Plus we give away some cool prizes each month to newsletter subscribers, so sign up.
Susan Griffith also returns to review some notable travel books and Graham Reid brings to light four interesting new world music albums. If you like what you see, tell a friend.
