What type of beer I drink depends on the situation, and I consider Budweiser a middle-of-the-line choice. I too prefer the cheap, light, piss-water beers like PBR, Olympia (slogan: "It's the water!"), and Natural Light when I'm going for quantity: poker nights, baseball games. When I'm eating, or just relaxing with a few beers, I usually reach for Sierra Nevada Pale Ale if there's money in the bank. If not, Bud it is.

Well, with a 50 percent market share in the U.S., somebody must be drinking it, right? To each his own.

Personally though, if I'm going to drink cheaply made beer just meant to go down cold, I'll take Pabst Blue Ribbon. More body and it's half the price. (Bud has to make up for all those TV commercials, billboards, and NASCAR sponsorships.)
