New Daily Deal Blog at L.A. Times
February 27th, 2007 Posted in General, Vacation dealsI’ve been wondering where Jen Leo would show up on the web since handing the Written Road blog baton on to someone else. Now she’s doing a daily deal blog for the L.A. Times.
Like the posts I do for HotelChatter, these are not stories on where to find a $10 beach hut in Honduras, but rather where to get a good value at a nice hotel instead of getting fleeced. They’re concentrating on places easy to get to from Los Angeles, so expect loads of deal alerts for California, western Mexico, Hawaii, and Vegas–where her and the hubby-to-be are moving back to. A story Jen wrote for Perceptive Travel’s first issue was called Lure of the Cards. Hmmmmm…
If you like to read humorous travel tales, check out the books Jen edited over the years for Travelers’ Tales–linked to from the article post above. Those three were all compilations of stories written by women. For the latest one, the guys got a chance: What Color is Your Jockstrap?
