Bad News for the Dollar in Europe

Yours truly is quoted in this USA Today article: Soaring euro means pricier European vacations. (Grab a copy today!)

For anyone planning a trip to Europe this summer, you might want to take a look at the financial news. The dollar has declined to around 1.28 to the euro, which means it’s also in more trouble against the pound in the U.K. It had been hovering in a range around 1.20 to the euro for quite a while, but it’s getting ugly again just as the summer travel season kicks in.

I’m having my European summer vacation in Buenos Aires instead…
